Course Description

The course is a standard introduction to topology. It follows the script by David R. Wilkins (Trinity College Dublin) which is available on Wilkins' homepage here.

Recommended literature: Klaus Jaenich: Topology, Springer, 1984.

Grading

Homework, midterm test and final test count 50%, 20% and 30% towards the grade for the course, respectively. The homework grade is 10*(number of credits obtained)/(maximum possible number of credits), rounded to the nearest integer.
